Remember the movie Easy Rider? I do. It along with Mad Max were the 2 movies that pretty much started me off down the road as a biker.

Once I knew what bikers really were, I decided that Easy Rider wasn’t a biker movie, it was a road trip movie about 2 drug dealers who bought motorcycles…ok choppers, and took them on a cross country ride.

I recently stumbled onto Mr. Zip, a blogger who blogs about, among other things Route 66 & riding Harley’s.

Check out his blog post here Easy Rider Route Then & Now. He put tons of effort into it complete with video’s from the movie, then & now pictures of strategic locations along the route and lots of history about the movie. I found this particular post utterly fascinating.

See you on the road.
